I have a new email address at home.  It is iposullivan@wildblue.net.  It is really getting close to my last day at school.  I am so excited.  I may continue to teach part time or substitute but not all day.  This way I can devote more time to my family and church.

I'm looking forward to our 50th.

Check out the pictures of Tony Contreras after he finished the Boston Marathon in the Life and Times album on the Photo Albums page.  Finishing a marathon at age 66 - he's my hero!

Well, I've had enough.  I am retiring.  Maybe this will give me time to spend with my grand children and take care of my Mom and Dad.  Who knows I might find a new vocation.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you at our 50th.  Wow time does fly.

Did everyone see this?

OUR VERY OWN TONY

William A. Contreras,
This is to notify you that your entry into the 114th Boston Marathon on Monday, April 19, 2010 has been accepted.

I knew he was good--I saw him in DC with the Marines (20 years ago) and again in Austin some years back.  But this is something special.

Does Baytown have a Sports Bar? We need a place to cheer him own.

ANN

First grandaughter born June 5! Addison Grace Bevers-absolutely beautiful. Held her for the first time 30 minutes after she was born.
Looked me straight in the eye,  held up her thumb, and said "Gig'em".

Hi Everybody, just wanted to take a minute to thank those of you who put the mini-reunion together.  Everybody had a great time, and I am looking forward to the 50th!  That is, so long as you keep your promise of NO STAIRS!  Some of us are too old to be climbing stairs.  Look forward to seeing more of you at the 50th.

Sorry I wasn't able to come to the mini-reunion. I was looking at the pictures and there were so many people that I hadn't seen in years and years. You all look great. It was so good to see you all.
I worked for ExxonMobil as a lab technician and equipment inspector for almost 28 years, then retired in December, 2003.
I began singing gospel music about 20 years ago. I was able to serve as Minister of Music at several churches for a total of 12 years. as some of you might remember, I was pretty shy and bashful in school. The Lord changed that.
I have been married to Pat Stephens (REL '65) for 42 years, have 3 children ages 29, 39, and 40, and 5 grandchildren.
Hope to see you all at the 50th!

WOW!  The mini-reunion was great!  We had 69 folks (including spouses, significant others).  It was good to see and visit all who were able to attend.  Jerry Pursley was there from Scotland, Donna Bond Hood and Maury were there from outside Seattle!  Sam Lark from Brackettville; Bryan Stratton, Austin; Martha Barnett Harris, Bastrop; Jimmy Dodd, Marble Falls; Ivan Edelman and Bunny, Dallas; Janellen Moseley Goodner, New Braunfels; Jeanette Murphy Fjeld, Corpus; Toni Scott Myers, Lindale, TX; Marie Swint Mahan, Wylie, TX; Ann Thedford, Tow, TX; Steve Hudnall, Austin... the rest of us were from Baytown, Houston and surrounding areas.  We met upstairs at Spaghetti Warehouse, and the Reunion Committee promises there will be NO STAIRS at the 50th!  ;o)  Hope to see many, many more of you guys at the 50th!

I was hoping to come to the mini reunion, but I will be in Longvview at my oldest grandson's basketball game. I  spend alot of my time visiting my 2 sons and their wonderful wives and 5 grandchildren.  One group lives in Longview and the other in Austin.
After I retired from counseling in a school district, I started counseling in a community college part-time.  I just retired from there last May. Now my time is spent traveling, antiquing and going places with my friends.
Hope to see you all at the 50th!

I can't believe it has been this long since high school.  I never would have believed I would be a teacher of high school.  Here I am teaching science in a small school, New Waverly, south of Huntsville.  Were we as bad as these guys are?
I am looking forward to seeing some of you at the Mini-reunion.
